The recording studio and entire facility uses photovoltaic solar panels, harnessing the sun’s energy to generate 100% of it’s own electricity. We are an eco friendly studio that cares about our environment. The studio is equipped with an Equi=Tech Balanced Power System. AC power is the main source and also the primary cause of all the hums and buzzes we have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. Having the Equi=Tech Balanced Power System enables us to keep the lowest noise floor possible.

Solar Panels that run Grace Recording Studio
The studio was designed by world class designer Steven Klein of Sound Control Room, Inc. The control room has a floating floor which is 9 1/2 inches thick, wrapped in acoustical vinyl and special sound materials to isolate it. The walls and ceiling using sound absorbing materials are also 9 1/2 inches thick. The ISO room has a floating floor which isolates it from the control room and the deck outside, blocking out any external noise. We installed a new attack wall and bass traps which were made by Art Noxon of Acoustical Science Corporation then recapped the entire console, thus creating a neutral environment for listening and recording audio tracks.
